Cheesy Pizza Biscuits

All the flavour of pizza in a soft little biscuit made for tiny hands. Lovely for snack time, lunchboxes and sharing.

👶 Suitable for 6m+  ⏰ Ready in ~15 min  ❄️ Freeze up to 3 months, or keep in a container for 2 days.

Ingredients

  • 100g softened butter
  • 90g extra-mature cheddar, grated
  • 150g wholegrain or plain flour + 1½ tsp baking powder (or self-raising flour)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Method

  1. Mix everything together by hand or in a food processor. By hand, rub the butter into the flour until you have a soft dough.
  2. Flour a surface and rolling pin, and roll to about ½ cm thick (thinner = crispier, thicker = softer). Top with a little extra cheese.
  3. Place on a baking tray and bake at 200°C fan for about 10 minutes, until lightly golden.
