Food on-the-go made fun: cafés, road trips and grandma's house

Feeding a baby away from home is where good systems save the day. The café highchair has no tray liner, grandma's carpet is cream, and the road-trip picnic table is… questionable. Our on-the-go kit list:

  • Disposable coverall bibs — full coverage that rolls up and bins when you're done. Two live in the nappy bag at all times.
  • Pre-cut finger foods in a container — no cutlery, no prep, no fuss at the table.
  • A wet cloth in a zip bag — faster than hunting for napkins, kinder than baby wipes on the face.
  • One familiar food, always — new places are big for little people; a known snack settles nerves.
  • Order for baby first — café kitchens are slow when someone's hangry and small.

The goal isn't a mess-free outing — it's a relaxed one. Cover the clothes, contain the blast radius, and enjoy your coffee while it's hot. You've earned it.
