Healthy Chocolate & Banana Muffins

A chocolatey hit for little ones with no added sugar — just ripe banana doing the sweetening. Soft, freezer-friendly, and ready in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients
- 125g (1 cup) oat flour
- 30g (¼ cup) cocoa powder
- 3 very ripe small–medium bananas
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
- 2 tbsp milk
- Handful of chocolate chips (optional)
Method
- Heat your oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, mix the oat flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Add the milk, egg and banana and mix until combined. Stir through chocolate chips if using.
- Spoon evenly into muffin cases (paper or silicone).
- Bake for 12–14 minutes. Cool before serving.
